this is a second attempt. Both Andy and Adam thought the text was way too small one my first one, so i gave it another try. I am actually way happier with the new one. The text is more functional. Still small but now you can read it from further away than one inch. I wanted to round the edges of that grey bar anyway. I should really go to school for graphic design so i can kinda know what i am doing.
I have been in a mood lately. Going back to a drawing style i gave up awhile back. I guess i just needed to get my sketching back together. I have three projects and three drawings i want to use... I am going to have to sleep on this... or at least watch Pan's Labyrinth then go back to work... ugh.

yeah, I have been working a bit. I have a few new illos on my illustration page but I definetly have to keep pumping out the new stuff. Here is a short list of upcoming projects:
I am working on the occasional show poster with andrew crawshaw now. It's going to be fun since he can design so damn pretty. I think he is going to be getting some Minotaurs and circus drawings.
I am working on a corporate logo this week that should look sexy and finished sooner than later but i don't think i am able to put it up here until it has been approved.
I am finishing a couple coffee cups for my buddy Sara Mahlin. Think "copyright infringement"...
I have a few show posters for Ladies' Choice that i need to finish tonight and tomorrow.
I love how all these short fragmented sentences start with "I".
I have finished all the artwork for the Rome Plow 12". Now we just need to get andrew to get the mixing and mastering done. I really can't wait for this to be finished...
I am almost done with the artwork for the final Playing Enemy release on Hex records.
My sweet lil' fiance', Chris Smith, is super ill and i am taking care of her today.
My current main musical squeeze is still pumping out the jams. Here is an up to date history:

Splits with about four more bands are lined up. You have heard of these bands and they are very good. You shall see.
I have been having such a rewarding time doing this Hemingway project. Shane and I are both approaching song writing in a very unorthodox way. We have recently added our friend Matt Hartman to help us record and play a little guitar and bass live plus add to some of the more noisier pieces live. We got the help of Andrew Crawshaw again. This time he is playing a little bit of drums for us live and helping us with his mad design and printing skills. Andrew is also the mind behind Broken Press, who will be releasing an amazing version of our "Depressing Foreign Movies" cassette that was supposed to be on Stentorian Tapes. Speaking of cassettes, Dead Accents is Shane and my tape/record/whatever label that we are running very low key. Our first release is a twenty six minute noise/guitar piece called "A Kid Named Junk Drawer". Here is a picture of the packaging: Tapes will be available after our upcoming show on May 11th. They will be $6 and limited to only 16 numbered copies. All copies are handmade and stamped with the date they were made . There are about five releases on Dead Accents planned for the rest of 2007. There will also be about that many Hemingway releases planned for Broken Press as well. Check back here for more info as it arrives. Here is an Andrew Crawshaw/Demian Johnston flyer for the show i was just typing about:

hope to see you there.
